The tundra biome is characterised by permafrost and harsh conditions; therefore, the animals present in this biome need to be specifically adapted to these conditions to survive. Crop growth in this biome requires specialised technologies, such as UV lights and water conservation, to ensure proper growth and a positive, sustainable impact. However, tourism has human impacts on a tundra biome; however, governments are taking action to ensure that this is no longer the case. Overall, the technologies used to provide crop growth are sustainable, and future steps can be taken to ensure that mass growth is possible without increasing environmental impacts.
